Window to the Soul

Create four different documents. Think of four different categories to write about. Some suggestions are: Three goals you are working towards; your most precious possession; what you would like people to say about you when you've gone; the most influential person in your life. Be prepared to write a little in each document.

• Demonstrate how to open a new document, minimize, and maximize using a window. Show students your four documents and type one sentence about yourself in each.
• Ask students to do the same, sharing their work with at least one other student. Have them ask questions, and have a conversation about what each has written. This way they will get practice minimizing and restoring the documents.
  

• Have students cut and paste all their statements into one document. Make sure they also include the titles too!
